Okay, so you decided to take it a bit at a time. You were pretty sure you were a deer now laying on the ground, but panicking would be the worst thing to do right now. With that you turned your head back to the front, and just digested your senses, slowly breathing and blinking.
The first two things that came to mind was your sight and smell. Despite pointing your head forward earlier, you had a different range of vision. Like if someone took your eyeballs and moved them to the side... actually that's exactly what is going on when you think about it. You moved both your eyes and head a bit, and although your range of vision was much wider now, looking forward didn't feel as clear as it use to be, and you couldn't really tell colors anymore. There was more to it than that with your sight, but you decided to take in the smell next.
Your sense of smell seemed to be... better? Like you seemed to be able to tell things apart with more detail. You could smell yourself, but you could smell the grass, the trees and some other things around you that you weren't sure of yet. With a slight breeze, you could smell what was coming with that as well. Somehow, you could also tell if something was bad or good from a smell, but this was all so new.
You continued your psuedo-meditation, and just felt your body out. Breathing came naturally as it did since the day you were born (as a human), but taking a few deep breaths, including separate ones with your new nose and mouth, brought out the alieness. Although you could see your body with your new vision pointed forward, you turned your head to one side again to look at your body.
Your body was definitely a deer. Despite being on a dirt floor laying slightly on your side, in what you could guess was a comfortable resting position for a deer, there was no denying it was YOUR deer body. The belly, the coat, the heart beat and more! You moved your limbs around a bit, just testing out they felt compared to your human arms and legs. The oddest part was not having hands, just hooves, but the more time you spent time moving things around, the less alien it felt. There was also your tail and new ears. You weren't doing much with your tail at the moment since that felt brand new, but you felt movements from it every once in awhile. Your ears though, tons of movement. You felt like you had total control with your ears, but like a kid learning to ride a bike for the first time, you didn't know HOW to control them. More to explore, but then you looked at something that you don't think you've seen on a deer before, at least from the random pictures and videos you remember.
Udders. Huge udders, they would almost look like humans breasts if they weren't more connected in the middle. The closer they were to your body, they were covered in a matching light fuzz of your coat, but towards the nipples there was a mixture of a hairless pink and purple. They looked heavy, they FELT full, but there wasn't much to tell at the moment while laying down. But the existence of the udders reminded of your situation.
You didn't just suddenly wake up as a deer, you seemed to be the custom female deer that you designed back with the Titan. You still weren't sure how much of this thing was a dream or nightmare, but if it was real, everything made sense now. That means you definitely are female, and taking a quick look around, you are now somewhere in a forest in the western US. That could mean you could still be somewhere you really didn't know, but at least it gave you an idea. This also meant some less apparent things were going to happen. You remembered all the bodily tweaks suddenly and winced (you wish you had a mirror right now, how does a deer "wincing" look like?). But then you remembered one key change: adjusting to being a deer.
You would fall into being one comfortably, but you had to be careful not to lose yourself somehow. Was this already kicking in with you just doing this and that with your body? Maybe it had to do with how you felt about your sense of smell? Thinking on it, can you even walk?
With a burst of inspiration, you made the attempt to stand up... and proceeded to tumble over yourself. If the mental changes were real, they weren't sudden. You were kind of helpless at the moment and being in the middle of the wilderness reminded you that there could be predators as well. Learning how to stand and walk felt like a very high priority at the moment...
