After some comtemplation, you decide to head to the kitchen. There, you lop up some water from your bowl, finding yourself parched all of the sudden. Once done, you pant with your long tongue, with it resting just above your chin, dripping with water. Then, the urge to relieve yourself becomes too much to ignore. So, you head outside.
Outside, you walk around the yard, trying to find the perfect spot to do your business, finding it easier to walk around on all fours with each passing moment. You eventually find a spot by the fence and lift your leg up, letting the contents of your bladder empty. As the last trickles come out, you notice something moving in the corner of your eye. Finishing your business, you turn your head to investigate the moving object, only to find a small gray squirrel foraging the yard for food. Upon setting your sights on the critter, your mind is suddenly filled with the desire to chase it. Soon, you find yourself darting across the yard toward the critter. The squirrel notices you and makes a beeline for a nearby tree, eventually climbing it with ease. You reach the tree, planting your paws, err, hands, on its bark. You "bark" at the high up critter, though what comes out just sounds like a person making dog sounds.
After spending some time glaring and "barking" at the squirrel, you put yourself back down on all fours, letting out a huff of frustration. Soon after, however, your hands and feet start to feel funny. You bring one of your hands up, the palm facing you. You notice that your palms are getting rougher by the second, eventually becoming full on paw pads, also noticing that the same has happend on your feet as well. Putting your hand down, you watch as your nails grow longer, sharper, and thicker while also turning black. Next, your fingers start getting pudgier, while also shrinking, with your thumb sliding up your arm a bit, becoming a dewclaw. Soon enough, your hands have become visible dog paws. Looking at your feet, they seem to have gone through the same changes. Your heel is now completely off the ground, and your feet seem to have strecthed a bit.
With your hands and feet now having become forepaws and hindpaws, the funny feeling doesn't end there. The feeling, spreads to your arms, legs, and even your back. You feel slightly uncomfortable as the bones in your legs and arms crack and shift as they become your forelegs and hindlegs. Letting out a loud "YELP!", your legs make a loud "POP!" sound as they shift into postition. Looking at your arms and legs, they have completely become a dog's hindlegs and forelegs. The funny feeling in your back, however, has not gone away. You wince as you feel your spine and shoulders shift. Your posture becomes more like a dog's as it starts to feel more and more comfortable to stand on all fours with each passing second. Finally, your back makes another loud "POP!", with your posture completely looking like a dog's.
With the funny feelings disappearing, you investigate your new changes, looking at them with almost...admiration. Heading back inside, you notice how incredibly easy it is to walk on all fours. Once inside, you notice a piece of scrap food on the counter. You try to stand up to grab it, but find that you can't as your spine forces you back on all fours. You find this curious but think nothing of it. Must be just the growth spurt everyone deals with growning up, you think. Unsure of what to do, you eventually trot to the living room, and lay down while gnawing on a squeaky toy.
