After a while of thinking, Jeff finally makes a dicsion, “I think I’ll test it on myself,” he says to himself, “I mean… I’m home alone the whole weekend, mom and dad are on some “romantic trip”, my big sis is spending the weekend with her girlfriends and my annoying little brother is also spending the weekend at a friend’s house”.
Jeff opens the option tab and scrolls through it, “man, so many things to choose from,” he groans, “I can become a vehicle, a toy, food, drink, animal, I can even become a girl or make myself younger… hm… what’s this? “Video Game Experience”? That kinda sounds interesting”. With his curiousity awaken, Jeff decides to read the discription:
“Ever wanted to experience what it’s like being part of a video game? This option allows you to do just that,” he reads out loud, “but instead of becoming part of an already existing video game, you are able to create your own! You are able to choose from various genres, like, action, romance, stratagy, fantasy,… you are also able to costumize yourself: either you can remain yourself or become someone or SOMETHING else: ever thought what it would be like being a female? Do you like anthropomorphic beings and are curious to want to know what it’s like being a animal-human hybrid? Ever wanted to experience childhood again? You are also able to select an outfit, which fits the game theme you chose, out of an huge collection of clothings! Are you wondering how to return to your true world, if you are done playing or get bored? Don’t fret, you are able to, before starting the game, select the duration of your “stay” and will automatically “log out” once the timer has run out. You are also able to log out manually by opening your connected menue and simply tap on the “log out” button. Furthermore, you are able to save your progress and pick up from there when you decide to “log back in”!”
At this point, Jeff’s eyes are huge and his body is rippling with excitement, being a gamer, he always dreamt of wanting to be part of an amazing video game. “If this truly works,” the teen says to himself, “I’ll have the most amazing experience of my life!”
Jeff thinks for a while, he then grins, “I think I know EXACTLY what I want to do,” he says and without any further thought, the 16-year-old selects the “Video Game Experience”-option, and after selecting himself, finds himself in the setup window where he’s able to create the game he wants to be a part of.
“The question is: what genre do I want my game to have,” he asks himself, “I love action, especially shooter, but I also enjoy stratagy and virtual novels, escpecially virtual novels with love and romance! MAN… what should I choose?!”
