As Leah continued to ignore her filthy diaper and eat dinner, she wondered over what plans she could make with her free week. She realized she was a little limited, what with her severe lapse in potty training and frequent baby behaviors. She pondered on that: did her little stunt at the store all those weeks ago really impact her that much? The growing infantile traits she's gained has been ridiculous, given how unnaturally fast she's been regressing. Honestly, she should spend her time away from Tina and other babying influences to get a firm handle on her maturity again. The idea of repotty training herself and keeping an eye on her thumb all day wasn't a pleasant one, but Leah figured it'd be better to do sooner than later.
Her thumb finds its way into her mouth while she thinks, Leah immediately pushing it away in disgust---she did not want that in her mouth while she's eating. She looks at her thumb with narrowed eyes; the fact that she just started doing it without prompt unnerved her, especially with how natural it feels. Try as she might, she couldn't get that day in diapers out of her head. The day should be traumatic in hindsight, yet...she still came back to it in her mind again and again. There was just something about being a toddler for a day that stuck in her head. A tiny, traitorous voice in the back of her head suggested that maybe she LIKED it, which made the girl blush indignantly. There's no way she'd like being a baby, that doesn't make any sense; and yet, she can not find anything false in the claim. It was silly to think about, but what if instead of fighting it, she embraced it? Let herself indulge in these sudden new desires. Her traitorous mind found the idea nice, significantly better than being miserable all week trying to un-baby-ify herself. Embracing it terrified Leah slightly: if these behaviors were sticking, she's afraid she'll go too far down the rabbit hole to ever climb back up again.
Typically she wouldn't even consider doing anything even remotely like that, but she remembered Tina's reaction earlier that day. While Rita was disgusted, Tina was enamored, so much so she...actually asked what Leah wanted and listened? Leah's so used to Tina treating her like a child that the behavior completely caught her off guard. If that's how she treats Leah when she's unintentionally acting like a baby, how would she feel if Leah embraced it?
That thought almost cemented it for her. Despite everything, Leah was starting to think she liked being a bit of a baby, and Tina clearly did too. That, and it would be both fun and relaxing.
