Jennifer walked slowly through the hall, heading back to the living room where her friends were located. She couldn't bury the part of her that was Jeff, not entirely, but the Jennifer part of her - The current her - remained in full control.
The other girls were sitting on the floor, just as they were when she left, with a movie playing on the television. Still conflicted, she decided the best course of action was to talk to Lucy about things, as she was the one these doubts concerned the most. Walking up, she tapped Lucy on the shoulder to get her attention. "Hey, Lucy?" The girl asked. "There's... something I want to talk to you about..."
She watched as her former sister turned to look at her. "Hm? What do you want to talk about?" The other girl asked, a friendly smile on her face. One which some part of Jennifer, the part that was Jeff, identified as somewhat forced with suspicious undertones, as if the girl was hiding something.
Jennifer motioned to follow, speaking a bit softer. "Not in front of the others. Come on." Jennifer took a few steps away, pausing for a moment to wait as Lucy got up, a curious look on her face. Jennifer then took her hand, leading her down the hall, before pulling her into the privacy of the bathroom.
"Alright, what's going on?" Lucy asked, a little more confrontational than usual, but the shift was small enough that Jennifer wouldn't have noticed, if not for the lingering part of Jeff. "Why did you drag me into the bathroom?"
A look of guilt crossed Jennifer's face, as she took a deep breath. "I... I've been having some... thoughts... about things, and... I think it's only right to let you know about it." The girl started, glancing away from her former sibling. "Not just because it's your sleepover, but... well, because it involves you."
Jennifer could feel Jeff's disapproval about what she's doing, but it's too late for her to back down, as Lucy keeps up her own act. "Involves me? What's going on?"
Jennifer sat down, arms crossed as she looked down. "There's, well... Since you showed us that Chronivac earlier, I've been having feelings, as if... as if I'm someone I'm not." She explained. "I know I'm Jennifer, I've always known myself as Jennifer, yet there's this part of me that's telling me I'm someone else. A part of me telling me I'm a boy." After a slight pause, she added, "And... that part of me really doesn't want me to tell you, but it wouldn't be nice to keep it from you... especially since it's telling me you're my sister..." Lucy was shocked by the confession, and Jennifer wasn't sure which part shocked her more.
