Lucy looked conflicted, looking away. On one hand, she wanted to stick with what she knew, with Jennifer as nothing more than a friend. But, knowing they were siblings before, she couldn't help but wonder what it was like, and what it could be like to try to reclaim that bond. And yet, she also felt hesitant toward the idea of being siblings, as she wanted to separate Jennifer from 'Jeff' as much as possible. But also, she couldn't help but worry about what would happen to Jennifer, considering the fears the girl shared moments ago.
That mix of worry for her friend's fate, and desire to know what having a sibling was like, helped her make up her mind. "I... think we should try being sisters." She decided. "As much as I want to disassociate you from... Jeff... I-I also don't want to risk you having nowhere to go, in case you were right about your life being made up." Then, a moment later, she added, "And... I'm also curious what I've missed out on, due to what Jeff did."
Jennifer smiled in response. "Alright..." She stepped forward, embracing Lucy in another hug. "Then I guess that settles that... Sis." A short pause. "That's going to take some getting used to, hehe.."
"Yeah.." Lucy replied, returning the gesture. "It will." Then she broke out of the embrace, an excited smile on her face. "But! Think about how much fun we can have! It'll be like we're having a sleepover every night!"
Jennifer's face lit up in response. "I guess so, yeah! Might not be the same as tonight, since the others-" Then she paused. "Wait, what do we tell the others about this?"
Lucy froze up for a moment. "Um..." She looked over at the door. "We could just say the Chronivac revealed we were long lost sisters or something...? Or... Do you want to tell them about the whole 'Jeff and Alan' thing?" She asked, weighing the options. "I think they should know about that, but it concerns, well, your entire existence, so I wouldn't wanna tell them if you want to keep it a secret."
