Jennifer seemed conflicted for a moment. But, out of fear of what could happen, she comes to a decision pretty quickly. "Let's... keep things vague for now." Looking over at the door herself, "I don't want them to hate me for something I had no control over... n-nor do I want them to hate me for someone I'm not anymore."
Her sister nodded. "Alright." She took Jennifer's hand, squeezing it. "So we're going with the 'long lost sisters' idea, then?" She asked, seeking verification. When Jennifer nodded, she continued. "Okay. Just wanted to make sure." Lucy took a step toward the door, but a tug from Jennifer held her back. "Hm?" She hummed, looking back.
"Before we go..." Jennifer began. "It shouldn't be long before the pizza arrives. Since we're already in here, it'd probably be a good idea to... Y'know, wash our hands, just to be sure." She suggested, gesturing toward the sink. She'd already washed her own hands a few minutes ago, but it didn't hurt to be thorough, and to remind Lucy to do so.
"Yeah, that seems like a good idea." Lucy agreed, the two girls walking over to the sink. A sense of familiarity washed over the two of them at the sight of the double sink layout, as if designed for two people to wash their hands or brush their teeth at the same time. "...You know, I never paid much attention to that, but... I guess that explains why we have two."
Jennifer nodded in agreement, taking the sink on the left, while Lucy took the right. And as they turned the water on, both of them had the feeling as if they'd done this before, in a past that no longer exists. Jennifer had the faint memory of giving Lucy assistance, back when the girl hadn't fully mastered brushing her teeth herself, although this never happened in her reality.
It didn't take either of them long to finish and dry up, and once they were done, "Ready?" Lucy asked.
Jennifer nodded. "Yeah." The two girls went to the door, ready to leave...
