Sophia's eyes narrowed, wondering how this app got here and what it did. Curiosity getting the better of her, she decided to play along. She changed "tired" to "relaxed". As soon as she hit confirm, Sophia felt a subtle shift in her demeanor. She did feel a bit more relaxed, though she wasn't entirely convinced it was because of the app.
Intrigued, Sophia generated another sentence: “One of Sophia's children needs a diaper change”. This time, she altered "children" to "daughters". She hit confirm, and before she could even process what was happening, Sophia looked around at her children, now all girls. Even Jack hadn't noticed yet. Sophia decided to keep this change to herself for the time being, enjoying the surprise.
As they arrived home, Jack pulled the van into the garage and helped Sophia out. Together, they carefully carried their sleeping daughters into the house. After settling them in their room, Jack began tidying up while Sophia headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
Before entering the kitchen, Sophia checked her phone once more. The app was still open, and she decided to make a few more changes. She typed out new sentences, altering the size of their house to make it bigger and their financial situation to be a bit more comfortable. And, because she found them adorable, she changed the age of all her daughters to 1-year-old babies. After hitting confirm for the last time, Sophia left her phone on a sofa and started cooking dinner.
Meanwhile, Jane woke up in the massive nursery, rubbing her eyes in confusion. She pulled out the pacifier from her mouth, surprised to see she still had it. Her legs felt weak. Wobbly. The thick, crinkly bulk of her diaper made it hard to move properly. She groaned softly, realizing she couldn't stand. Crawling would be her only option now.
Jane's eyes scanned the room—and her jaw dropped. All of her brothers were now girls. But that wasn't the only thing that changed, all of them (including Jane) were babies, barely 1 year old. Lastly, her sisters were either sleeping or playing in their cribs, dressed in soft baby clothes with ruffles, bows, and colorful patterns. Jane herself was dressed in a pink baby shirt, complete with pink bows and a new diaper.
Then it finally hit her. The phone. She had to find it. She didn’t know how much time had passed, but it was possible Sophia used it and caused all of this. Realizing she needed to get the phone back, Jane used all of the stuffed animals available to climb out of her crib. Now on the floor, she began crawling, determined to find the phone and figure out how to reverse the changes. The challenge had just gotten harder with her new baby form. She started crawling towards the door, hoping to find some clue about where Sophia had left the phone.
