Since Maria and Diego were away at work, and most of Lisa was at school, things were pretty quiet in Lisa's bedroom. A Lisa kitten was lying on a Lisa mattress topper pillow, and woke up. She yawned, stretched, then transformed herself back to human, and realized she was hungry. She thought about her mattress topper self, upon whom she was lying. She's probably getting hungry, too. She reached to the other pillow, and rubbed her fur.
For a while, nothing happened, but then the fur receded, and Lisa's face and ears appeared on the pillow. She opened her eyes.
"I'm getting a bit hungry," human-form Lisa said. I think we went to school, and left us here."
"Mmmm, nice of us to let us sleep. I've enjoyed it. But you're right, I'm a bit hungry, too. Stand up, and I'll transform." Lisa stood, and Lisa transformed back to human. Now she both looked identical. "Want to merge?" she asked herself.
"Let's remain separate a while longer," she said, "if you don't mind."
They went downstairs, and prepared themselves a simple meal.
"It's boring here," Lisa said. "At least school would be more interesting."
"Well, I just want to relax, and enjoy our secret break," Lisa countered. "At least when we sleep, we get away from thoughts about not being able to see Ty."
"I suppose," Lisa grumped. "I wish you hadn't brought that up."
Lisa cleaned up after their lunch, and headed upstairs again. "Would you like to be a kitten this time? I'd like a turn as mattress topper."
"OK."
Lisa turned into a mattress topper and pillows, and Lisa turned into a white kitten, snuggled into a pillow, and went to sleep.
