Ty considered all the things he could do now that he had June entirely under his power. She would do literally anything he asked her, without protest. But then he realized what an awful thought that was. June trusted him, with her very existence. And while it was true that for the first several years after she and Mark adopted him, they weren't nice to him, and he disliked them, in recent times they had gotten over that and grown close. No, he wouldn't abuse the trust she'd placed in him. And really, it didn't matter tbat she was in phone app form. With his power, he could make her do anything, any time, without needing her to be in a special form. But he would never do that.
He asked June App, "How do you feel?"
"I'm not sure," June App replied. "Strange. But not bad."
'What are you doing?" he asked her.
"Waiting for a command," she said. Oh, right. Before transforming her, he should have told her to concentrate on the tasks she wanted to accomplish.
"What is the total annual worldwide production of copper?" he asked.
As he watched, June's avatar rolled her eyes up, and she arched her back. Then she returned to her normal posture, her eyes looked out at him again, and she said, "Twenty three million metric tons."
"How did that feel?" he asked her.
"That was... amazing," she said. "I know Lisa said that she got sexual pleasure from answering questions as an app, but that was much more intense than I expected."
"Are you ready to do your accounting work?" he asked.
"Yes," June App replied.
"Would you be more comfortable if your virtual environment contained a chair and desk?" Ty asked.
"I'm not certain," June App replied. "I don't feel uncomfortable, but it would be more familiar."
"June," he told her, "you may bring any furnishings you like into existence in your virtual environment, and you may adjust the environment in any way that suits you."
A desk, looking nearly identical to her physical desk in her office, appeared, along with an office chair. June's avatar sat at the desk. "Thank you," she said.
"No problem," said Ty. "Now please start on your accounting work." The June App avatar rolled her eyes up again, but mostly sat still. He noticed that occasionally she moved a bit, and once in a while, a low moan escaped her lips.
"Please tell me if you finish your work," Ty requested.
"Yes, Ty," June App said.
Ty looked at the time on june's phone, and also saw that the battery level was nearly full. He set the phone on her desk, pulled out his own phone, and started doomscrolling.
After a while, he heard June's ringtone. "June, don't answer your phone," he said.
"Yes, Ty," June replied. The ringtone continued for a short while, then stopped, and her phone beeped.
About 45 minutes after Ty had transformed her, June App said, "Ty, I have finished my accounting work."
Ty put his own phone away, and picked up hers. Her avatar was seated at the desk, idle.
"Is there anything else you'd like to do as an app?" Ty asked.
"I'll do whatever you ask me to do," June App said. Right, the mental changes, Ty thought. Her free will was almost gone in this form.
Ty asked, "Do you want to transform back to your human form?"
June App simply said "No." Ty wasn't surprised.
"June, transform yourself back to your human form," Ty ordered.
The June App avatar looked down, and frowned. "I don't know how to do that," she said, sadly. "Please give me commands that I can successfully perform."
From the experience with Lisa, Ty knew that asking the app do do something it couldn't made it extremely unhappy.
"I'm sorry, June. I forgot that you don't have the power to transform yourself." He would transform her back, but he didn't want you do it while she was unhappy due to not being able to perform his command. He tried to think of a command to give her, that she could complete quickly, which would make her happy. "June, what are the top three copper-producing countries?"
June App's eyes rolled back briefly, then she said, "Chile, Peru, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo."
"Thank you, June," Ty said, and her avatar smiled. "How do you feel?"
"I feel fine, thank you," June App said. "Much better than when you asked me to transform myself."
"Good," Ty said. "I'm going to transform you back to human form now. Ary you ready?"
"Yes, Ty," June App confirmed.
Ty transformed her back. There was a beep from her phone, and a notification, "June App deleted." He set the phone on her desk.
