Jennifer fished her own compact out of her pocket and opened it. Her hands were shaking as she looked at her face. Her eyes were still growing, and as she watched, the skin around them turned a pale, purplish white, just like in the drawing. The pale blue color flushed through her skin like dye running through a cloth, and her skin took on a wet sheen like an amphibian's epidermis. Her nose widened and flattened, until it was little more than a pair of holes with a slight ridging around them. As the skin ran up her forehead, her hair began falling out in a steady silken stream, pooling on the ground around her, a peroxide bleached puddle of damaged silk. Her upper lip receeded to a bare strip of skin over her teeth, while her lower lip turned a deep blue. Her cheekbones grew high and large, and deep blue markings appeared just below them. Her eyelids also turned a mottled blue, and a deep blue marking appeared in the middle of her forehead, and grew up towards her now bare scalp.
Her tongue began to grow, elongating into a mobile blue appendange, and immediately her teeth fell out. She spat them into the grass without realizing it, then cried out in alarm. Somewhere in the back of her mind a voice screamed, "Save them for the dentist!"
But just as suddenly, her mouth pushed forward into a slight muzzle, giving her face a sloaped look, and long, white fangs slipped from her neon blue gums. She felt a sharp tingle in her scalp just before scores of thick, blue-and-purple mottled tenticles burst from her skin, twisting around her head in reaction to her panic.
Jennifer screamed, and now her voice had a strange, burbling, liquid tone to it. Then she looked at her hands and dropped the compact. Her fingernails had already fallen off, and the skin around them turned the same rich blue as her lips and tongue. Her fingers slowly ran together, as if someone were drawing a zipper between them, until she had two thick fingers. Her thumb expanded to equil size, and her whole hands shifted until all three fingers were equidistant from each other. She gripped her arm and watched her skin turn pale and glisten in the dim light.
Her chest tingled in sharp almost pain and she grabbed it, hugging her middle in time to feel her brests receed into her chest. She pulled her shirt and bra away from her body, fumbling with her three thick fingers, and saw the white skin, now mottled yellow, spread across her boy-flat chest like an opening flower. She didn't even have nipples anymore, and as she watched, the yellow-white skin flowed down and engulfed her waist and bellybutton. Her muscles stood out in sharp releif under her skin, toned beyond what a cheerleader should have.
As the transformation faded into her pants, she felt the sharp tingle just above her spine. She put her hands to the spot. Her new, thick tail pushed between her fingers and grew quickly, as thick around as her forearm, then thicker. It roped around her, then away, lashing as wildly as her tenticle-hair. She screamed again, and the tingling moved on to her legs.
Her pelvis shifted, pushing her forward. Her hips widened impossibly, as if to make up for her flat chest, and her thighs thickened with pure muscle. Her calves and shins shortened, while her feet leignthened with a sharp sound of popping tendons and shifting bones. Her shoes burst at the seams, and the sudden release of pressure threw them into the bushes near the school building.
And then it was over.
