"Hello? Excuse me? Sorry to wake you up, but, who are you, and where the hell is Sean?" asked Jay.
Even as her startled body began to wake groggily from its slumber, Rain Blackfeather could hear the level of fake concern in his voice. He didn't care that Sean wasn't here and this new, attractive goth girl was. In fact, from the way he was looking at her, it was quite to the contrary, and the appearance of Sean would probably ruin his fun.
"Sean isn't here, he went out for something," Rain mumbles.
"You haven't answered my more important question," smirks Jay.
Rain looked at him with more clarity, her eyes managing to properly slide everything into focus for the first time since she woke. His carefully ruffled hair, ego fuelled confidence and boyish smile usually worked on girls, as Sean knew from experience, but right now she was getting nothing, which was somewhat relieving.
"I'm Rain. I know Sean from a long time ago," said Rain.
"Rain, eh? I like Rain," said Jay.
He was already too much for her, and she had only been speaking to him for a solitary minute. She wondered how she put up with him for so long while she had been Sean, but right now that was less of a concern. She had the power, and given that her brain was still a little sleepy and she just wasn't in the mood for Jay's arrogance, using it didn't seem like abusing a God-like ability to change someone at all. Her eyes fell to the floor, where she had dropped the Chronivac.
