You travel north, hoping someone at that circus might be able to help you find your way back. Cautiously, you slowly move towards those latex tents. You walk step by step, coming ever closer, not knowing what new horrors may await there. Every inch that you move, the tension grows, until it finally becomes almost unbearable as you enter the circus area itself and find... nothing.
Well, nothing isn't entirely accurate. There are attractions here: a few rides, including an old-fashioned merry-go-round; a "house of horrors" tent; another tent advertising a three-ring show; yet another with a sign that says FREAK SHOW in large letters just outside of it; and a number of stands with several different games and foodstuffs on offer. In fact, aside from a creepily high amount of latex (from the tents to the merry-go-round saddles to the fabrics that decorate the stands), the circus itself seems entirely normal. What's odd is the fact that there isn't a single living thing here. The rides have no one on them and seem to run automatically, the stands are without a single customer, and monsters that you were afraid of running into seem to be completely absent (not that you're complaining).
A child would kill to be in your situation, alone at the circus with a free run of any attractions you please, but you're a bit preoccupied with figuring out where you are and what's going on to waste time on those rides and stands. Then again, it might not hurt to have a little fun...
