With every step Leticia took, it got easier to take the next one. The sight of the magnificent bucks, the scent of their sweat and blood, her own experience of sexual frustration, all were combining into a beautiful mental symphony drowning out the feeble pipings of her remaining masculine identity and common sense.
Spike was pleased with how things were going. Jeremy didn't seem to be performing quite as well against Drake as he had hoped, but that was of minor importance--if he lost, Jeremy could simply join or replace Drake in the doeification line. Sam was a formidable opponent, but Spike was confident of beating him with superior size and fighting skill. The next step was getting the park management to agree to the resplicing, and Spike had several ideas about that. Organizing the remaining males into a unit that could extend his control to other species was among the long-term goals, and so far everything seemed moving in that direction.
Leticia made it to the outskirts of the circle of bucks. All the horny businessmen and fratboys that would have been all over her before this night instead shrank from this attractive, willing doe. They were clearing a path for her towards the place near the center of the circle where the next combatants, Sam and Spike, waited.
Suddenly all of Spike's dreams and plans for his future were washed away by more primal emotions. A doe was moving towards him. Spike's senses of sight and smell were overwhelmed by her sexuality. She wanted him, and wanted him now.
Spike recalled reading somewhere that sex before combat was draining. No question that his previous struggles had already taken a lot out of him, and more strain would reopen the wounds Jeremy had left. He glanced toward Sam, who seemed aware of the doe, but was turning away. The eyes of every buck in the circle were on Spike and Leticia. Even Drake and Jeremy had paused in their headbuttings. The temptation to forget about the combat and take this sexy, passionate doe was getting harder to resist by the second.
"What the hell?" muttered Naomi.
