It's nighttime and the mother, your mother, kangaroo is asleep. You should be asleep, but something inside of you wants to hop about and explore. Sure that your mommy is asleep, you venture out and begin to explore the enclosure that you and mama have been placed in.
Suddenly a strange clicking noise can be heard and then you hear mommy screaming in terror and pain. Turning, wanting to return to her, something in you screaming about how dangerous it was for you to wander away, you hear another click and then you feel something press into your thigh. As you sink into the darkness, you see humans moving toward you.
You are awake and you want your mommy. "But who is my mommy?" you wonder to yourself.
You then try to search your memories, but can't remember. You remember something about going to the zoo and then seeing the kangaroo, but after that everything becomes fuzzy.
Realizing that you are laying down on hard concrete, you attempt to sit up, but find a shackle around one of your ankles. Naked, cold, wanting mommy, the cement floor pressed into your four year old privates, you begin to cry loudly.
Five cameras watch you and on the other side of the glass, the scientists watch you crying for your mother. On clipboards they have written down the full extent of what has happened and as someone new approaches, one of the scientist says to him, " We have good news and bad news sir."
The doctor nods and takes one of the clipboards and looking it over says, "Give me both."
A nod from the scientist and than one of them begins to explain. "Subject has returned to humanity, only not in the manner we thought. Subject is now a four year old girl and has no apparent memories of the past events. By what our scans can determine, she remembers someone, possibly her mother, taking her on a trip to the zoo. At some point, her memories shut down and she doesn't remember anything up until this point."
Inside the room, your bladder lets go and you pee on the floor. Embarrassed by what you've just done, you start crying harder and mixed in that are hiccuping sobs of, "Jenny wants mommy. Where is mommy? I want my mommy."
A nurse turns to the doctor and asks, "Now what?"
