As the day become night on Pleasure Island and the dog team. Bryan and the other dogs try to keep warm as they try to sleep in the cold, snowy wind. The other dogs seem to be asleep, but Bryan can’t sleep for some unknown reason. He suddenly hears that someone is approaching, he lift his head and discover that it’s Amber. “Hi Bryan, I was wondering if we could lie down next to each other so we can keep warm. It’s so cold tonight…” Bryan’s tail wags and his tongue hangs out of his mouth. “I would be happy if you would do that” he barks. Amber lie herself next to Bryan and give him a lick across the muzzle. They both feel the heat from each others bodies.
“Bryan?” Bryan’s ears pick up Amber’s sweet voice and he turns his head and look at her. “What is it Amber?” Bryan says softly. “Bryan… how did it feel to be that two legged furless creature?” Bryan lifts his head in confusion. “What are you talking about?” Amber also lifts up her head to meet his eyes. “I mean the creature you were before you became a dog” Bryan quickly sits up and looks down at Amber. “I’ve always been a dog, I have never been something else” Amber looks up at Bryan. “No Bryan, I saw you before you were a dog. Don’t you remember anything of it?” Bryan’s ears pull back in confusion. “It’s not true, I’ve always been a dog!” He turns his head and watches the sleeping team. “But if it would be true, it would mean that you could have once been one of those furless creatures too” Amber laughs “That’s just ridiculous” Bryan look at Amber again. “Is it?” Asks Bryan quietly. “But, I have always been a dog!” Amber barks in reply. Bryan stares at her. “Well, that was just what I thought about myself, before you informed me that it isn’t true”
“Well, I don’t remember being a furless creature!” She barks at him, almost in anger. “Well I didn’t remember being a furless creature, either!” He barks back. “But you were…” Her voice trail off. She suddenly realizes that maybe it isn’t such a ridiculous thought, that she have too once been one of the furless just like
