After staring at each other for a few moments, Scott began, "I think
we should talk to my boys first. Us talking to Luke probably won't
solve anything. Mark and Max need to apologize."
"Alright. Lets do the Good Dad, Bad Dad routine." Ethan replied.
Scott nodded in agreement as Ethan then took control of their legs and
walked them over to where Mark and Max were standing.
"Boys! What were you two thinking?" Scott harshly began.
"What do you mean?" Mark replied.
"You two couldn't have been any nastier!" Scott folded his and Ethan's
arms. "You need to march on upstairs and apologize to Luke NOW!"
"We're 18, DAD! Max and I can apologize to Luke when we want to." Mark
argued.
"And we shouldn't have to apologize anyways! Luke was the one who got
emotional over nothing. All we wanted was some time for ourselves;
can't he understand that!" Max continued.
Ethan then calmly cut into the conversation, "Look you two. Luke
doesn't completely understand your want to be alone. He doesn't have a
twin. All he wanted was to spend some time together with you guys. Is
is so hard to spend a few hours with Luke conjoined with you?"
The twins glanced at each other. They were both regretting what they
said to Luke now. "Alright" Mark said. "We will go and apologize to
Luke."
Max then walked both of them upstairs to Luke's room. Once they were
out of earshot, Ethan and Scott grew giant smiles on their faces as
they high fived each other. "We still got it!" They both exclaimed in
unision.
