Max watched as his and Luke's bodies began being pulled closer and
closer together. The process was slow. Their middle legs and arms
barely began to merge into them.
Max began to think, "This seems to be taking Luke longer than usual.
He must be getting tired again....I know, I probably can help if I
push into Luke. Yeah, that'll work!"
Max leaned their partially fused body against the wall, and began to
push. Max was excited; it was working. Max then began to push harder.
Within a few moments, Max and Luke were sharing a complete two-headed
body, but to Max's surprise, they were being drawn even closer
together. Their heads were now touching.
Max tried to pull away, but that only increased the rate at which they
were fusing. Max tried to yell, but the fusion had already reached
their throats. He couldn't even take a breathe.
Luke was focusing so much, he didn't even notice something was wrong
until he heard Max screaming at him. But, something was different
about it. I was almost like it was in his head. Curious, Luke
projected his voice in his head too. He asked, "Max, is that you?"
Max's voice, now more calm, replied, "Finally you answer. I think you
went a little...too far on the fusing, and I probaly helped with
that."
"What are you talking about? And how come I can hear you inside my
head?" Luke was puzzled. Though, he was starting to notice something
was different about his body. It was like the whole right side of him
was somebody else's.
"Let me show you" Max's voice replied. Luke then felt his body move on
it's own accord. Max moved their body in front of the mirror, and Luke
was awestruck by the image in it. Luke had defiantly fused too far.
From head to toe, Luke and Max were sharing a body. Their new body
looked like half of Luke and half of Max stitched together together.
