"Where is it?!" Kyle shouted as the entered the kitchen. He saw the chain hanging around Josh neck and was furious. "Give that back!"
"No."
"Give it to me!" Kyle slammed both of his fists on the table and glared at Josh. "It's not yours, give it back!"
"No." Josh said again with a smirk on his face. Kyle was getting so angry, and Josh was loving it. He reached up and touched the eagle, rubbing it with his fingers. "Finder's keeper's. Good thing too, because this is looks really good on me."
"I said give it back! It's not for you!" Kyle lounged across the table, but Josh was too quick. "It's a birthday gift for Dave. So give it back!"
"Oh..." Josh's smirk faded. It was fun to screw around with Kyle, but Dave was a pretty awesome guy, and Josh didn't want to bug him. "Well, if it's for Dave fine. But maybe you should ask nicely?"
"No!" Kyle shouted and tried to grab the chain again. "Just piss off and give it back!"
"If you can't even say please, then screw you." Josh was taking his plate to the sink, but when he turned his back, Kyle grabbed onto his arm and yanked him around. Josh lost his grip on the plate, and it shattered on the floor. Josh took a swing at Kyle as he came around, and sent him sprawling on the floor. Kyle was on the floor holding his stomach and gasping for breath. Josh had crouched down and taken hold of Kyle's shirt while leaning over him. He yanked kyle up so their faces were a few inches apart and was about to tell him off, when he saw that Kyle was wearing a eagle chain too. "What the hell, you bought one for yourself too?"
"No..." Kyle was still winded from the punch to the gut, "It's one chain, split in two."
"Haha, you mean like one of those "friendship" things. That's really lame." Josh mocked Kyle and let him drop back to the floor. "You can take it back. I don't want anything that reminds me of you!" Josh was about to take the chain off, when he saw that the half he was wearing, and the one kyle was wearing, were somehow stuck together. He thought at first that they must have gotten tangled when he bent down over Kyle, but when he took a good look, they were just stuck.
Kyle noticed it too and reach up to pull them apart but the two halves wouldn't budge. "What the hell?" Suddenly there was a bright blue light, and the area where the pieces met started to glow.
"What did you do?!" Josh was being pulled down toward his brother until he was laying on top of him.
"Get off me!"
"I can't! I can't move!" Josh sounded really freaked out. He couldn't move any part of his body, and to make things stranger, he felt a fuzzy tingle all over.
Kyle was feeling the same thing, "What's going on?!" They took another look at the chains, and watched as they started to merge
Both guys felt an extreme pain along with the fuzziness. Josh's head had moved to the left side of Kyle's as their torsos finished joining. Kyle had lifted his right arm and stared in horrour as Josh's right arm fused with it. Their left arms had followed suit, and so had their legs. They trying to pull apart, excepting that their heads would be next, but the glowing had stopped, and so had their fusing.
Kyle looked to the left and saw Josh staring back at him. They sat up together, with their arms outstretched. Not only had their bodies joined, but so had the clothes they were wearing. They had Josh's torn jeans with his belt, but with the colouring of Kyle's. They had on Kyle's t-shirt, but with material of Josh's sweatshirt.
"This can't be happening!" Josh still sounded freaked out, and had started to push on Kyle's head.
"I don't believe it!" Kyle had started pushing too. They were pushing each other with all their strength, but were getting nowhere fast. After another five minutes, they both gave up and glanced at each other again.
"Guess I will be keeping a close eye on you..." Josh sighed as both of them looked down again at the body they were now sharing.
