...a milk chocolate piece. She quickly popped it into her mouth, so that it wouldn't melt in her fingers, and
replaced the lid on the box of chocolates. The held the chocolate on her tongue in order to melt it, instead
of chewing it, so she could savor it.
"Mmmmmm...not bad for a cheapy box of chocolates," she said as the chocolate began to melt in her mouth. As
it did, she felt a strange tingling sensation on her tongue, which began to spread, eventually covering her
entire body before fading away as quickly as it had begun.
'That was weird,' she thought. Now that the tingling had faded, she began to feel slightly hot. Leaning
forward, she turned up the AC.
"Oh, you're hot? I was actually getting ready to turn it down," Tom said, turning his head to look at
Jennifer. "Um, Jennifer? Were you tanning before I picked you up?" he asked, with a puzzled look on his
face.
Jennifer, too, had a puzzled look on her face as she replied, "No? Why would you say that?"
"It's just that you look really dark skinned all of the sudden. I don't remember you being that dark before.
Whoa, it's almost as if you're getting darker by the minute!"
Jennifer, still confused, looked down at her hands. Her skin was several shades darker than normal, and, as
she watched, continued to get darker before her eyes. She reached up, pulled down the passenger side visor,
and opened it's small mirror.
"This....This is IMPOSSIBLE! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!" she shrieked. Her normally fairly pale skin was now
a light shade of brown, and still getting darker by the second. As she could see in the mirror, her blonde
hair had darkened as well. Even her normally green eyes had changed to brown. Tom, not knowing what was
going on or what to do, pulled over, and killed the engine. Turning to Jennifer, he could see that her entire
body was now one shade of brown. Even the whites of her eyes were gone. She still looked normal, besides her
eyes, only....brown....like the color of chocolate.
