Daisy smiled as Daimiko and Sayaka passed her, the bells around their necks making the world's most beautiful jingle. The two cat girls went
into the dress up party insider her auntie's house.
The near musical jingle of the bells echoed in Daisy's head. It felt so natural, so peaceful, so right. She heard herself sigh peacefully.
Everything felt so passive, so distant, like nothing completely mattered, everything was transient. What did it matter? What did she matter?
Time swept away everything.
Daisy realized she was thinking some pretty grown up thoughts, and felt proud of herself. After all, she was a child, and the last thing any child
wanted was to be treated as such.
She found the music inside comforting, and the people she heard speaking interesting in their own way: like flowers before they wilted and
died.
The temperature around Daisy dropped, creating a cold spot. She didn't cold, she didn't feel warm, she didn't feel anything.
The night gown she was wearing began to glow ever so softly, as did she, it became transparent as she became transparent. The night gown
itself was as much a memory as her arms and legs, a self projected image onto the perception of others.
Daisy felt weightless, nothing holding her down, and perceiving herself as such, she floated a few inches off the ground, the only thing keeping
her in line with Earth's rotation and Earth's orbit was her own perception of she was supposed to interact with the world.
Her long blond hair floated behind her, no longer a wig over her short black hair. Her expression was friendly, peaceful, passive, in contrast to
the happy go lucky hyper demeanor she had a moment ago.
Animals wouldn't come within twenty feet of her, their senses and small brains unable to comprehend the existence of this earth bound spirit.
And she simply continued to greet guests to her auntie's house whom she was currently haunting.
