Rick was in his small apartment bored. There was nothing on TV that he wanted to watch and he couldn't afford to have Internet right now. Going to see a movie was also out of the question as was renting movies. He could probably go to the park and watch the kids play though he was afraid that someone would think he was a pervert being 37 years old and no kids of his own. He had barely managed to avoid being arrested once before.
As he was wondering what to do he heard something hit the table. Looking at what it was he found a twenty sided die and a note. Opening the note he read:
Dear Richard,
I know that you're bored so I sent you a magic die for you to play with. This die is special because it transforms you into certain living creatures. I know you may be skeptical about this but think about it for a second. This note and the die just appeared out of thin air.
Below is a list of what you will transform into when the die lands on the corresponding number. I must caution you that your clothes won't change unless you roll a 19 and some of these transformations will ruin them.
You can use it by yourself but I would think it would be more fun to have your friends play with you. You could see who can get the most rolls before rolling 19. The roller still remembers their life life before rolling 19 so they will have to tell the others how many times they rolled. Or you could pick a number at random and see who rolls it first. Whatever you do have fun with it.
Your friend,
The Wizard
Rick chuckled and picked up the die. It did seem a little ridiculous but then again it had appeared out of thin air. He looked at the list of transformations and smiled. If it was true maybe he could become a girl like he had always though he should be. He decided to test the die himself before he involved any other people. Remembering the wizard's words about clothes not changing unless 19 is rolled he took off his clothes so he wouldn't ruin them. Besides he could watch the transformations without clothes getting in the way. He brought a full length mirror out of his bedroom and looked at himself. He was 37, five foot eight, and 180 pounds with short dark brown hair and olive eyes. He did have a bit of a gut which started expanding when he was 19.
He had to wonder if what he was doing was wise. After all he could roll something he didn't want. But then again that was part of the fun. Taking a deep breath he rolled the die wondering what he would get. His heart hammered with anticipation and excitement as the die came to rest. What did the die land on?
