The kiss was short, if long enough for the two fairies to descend to the ground, but it was still surprising to Cassandra. “Did I just… kiss a girl?” Cassandra said, still staring at Felicity’s eyes.
“As I said, all fairies are girls. Your fairy heart has awakened and you will find yourself as attracted to women as you were to men; even more so in your fairy form.”
“So, if I take human form, I’ll still find women attractive?”
“Fairies in human form are bisexual, yes.” Felicity said. “It’s sort of a compromise between your fairy nature and the human body you assume. Most fairies that live as humans take male lovers; but others prefer the company of women. In addition, some go so far as to bring their mates to Avalon itself to have them transformed into fairies so they could have daughters. In fact, my mothers are an example of a couple that took this step. My birth mother brought my seed mother to this island. She gladly agreed to the transformation ritual.”
“Seed mother?” Cassandra asked.
“Yes, in the throes of passion, fairies plant their seed, if one is available, into her lovers belly, then the others’ nectar fertilizes the seed and before long, a beautiful new fairy is born.”
“Seed, nectar, you speak as if fairies are part plant or something.”
“Our origins do lie with flowers.” Felicity said.
It was a lot for Cassandra to take in and she sat down on a log by the oasis. She thought about everything Felicity said. Then, she just thought about Felicity, who sat down next to her. It was remarkable how fast she seemed to fall for her, but she knew her feelings were genuine.
Soon, Felicity spoke up. “So, what would you like to do?”
