Ty was about to wish for the large bedroom windows to open on their own when Dustin opened the door to his
bedroom and walked in.
"Hey Ty! Where are you?" Dustin wondered out loud.
"Follow me!" Ty said to Jane, as the two birds quickly took off and flew out the door and into the hallway,
making a sharp turn into Dustin's bedroom, which was the very next room next to Ty's room.
"HEY! What are you birds doing in Ty's room? Get out!! SHOO! SHOOO!" Dustin shouted, as he began to chase
after the two blue jays while swinging his arms after them.
Ty and Jane quickly flew into Dustin's bedroom, where his windows were wide open. From there, they quickly
made their way outside, where they were free to go wherever they pleased! No longer confined to the house and
the walls and ceilings, Ty and Jane flew over the trees and rooftops before landing on one of the branches of
a large oak tree, which was standing in the neighbor's yard.
"Ahh... This is great!" Ty cheered, as he turned to face Jane.
"Oh flying is like the ultimate freedom!" Jane added. "Once you try it, you'll love being a bird!"
"Yeah... but now I gotta learn how to eat things that birds like to eat!" Ty sighed.
"Oh it's not so bad..." Jane began to explain, as Ty looked around.
Ty suddenly turned and heard a sound. Then, he saw something move behind Jane...
"Jane... FLY! NOW!!!!"
Ty took off and so did Jane... In the nick of time, just before Simon, the big, black neighbor cat was about
to jump right on top of her!
"Oh no! The cat! That big black cat!" Jane shouted. "That was so close!"
"Come... Let's land on my roof... the cat won't bother us there!"
Jane and Ty landed on the roof of Ty's house, where they just talked for awhile... Far away from Simon, the
neighbor's cat!
Where would the two birds go next?
