Yasmin's mother handed over some money, and Mr. Jones handed her her bag of pork products: sausage, bacon, and a
couple of ears for the dog. She would fry the bacon for dinner, she thought.
Smiling to Mr. Jones and turning to leave, a young girl entered and passed a greeting to Yasmin's mother. It was
Becky Wilson, from a few doors down.
"Hello there, Becky," Mr. Jones said. "Come to pick up your mother's order?"
"I have," she responded cheerily. "Two beef steaks, I think."
