You are at the end of a date with a woman a friend of yours from work set you up with. She's somewhat attractive, but nothing you'd go nuts over. She has shoulder length dark brown hair, brown eyes, her is sort of pale with hints of red about her arms and face that she says is a sunburn resultant from spending too much time outdoors last weekend. "Resultant" she tends to use words like that. Her round eyeglasses and frumpy clothing give the general appearance of a bit of a geek.
The date itself hasn't gone bad, per se. You've made small talk, learned about each others jobs - she's a librarian, each others hobbies, and such. You really don't seem to be forming much or a real connection, though. The conversation all night has had long pauses all night and by the end of the night you're looking forward to just going home.
Her home is quiet out of the way. She lives in one of those high wilderness areas that are only accessible by winding side roads with signs warning you about deer crossing or falling rocks. You pull into her drive way and walk her to her door. To your surprise she invites you in. You'd halfway expected her to simply thank you quickly and bolt inside the door. She can see you're taken aback and smiles grabbing you by the hand and giving you an encouraging tug as she opens her front door.
