Zack thought of a few different things he'd like to try, but for the time being he couldn't shake being a satyr again off his mind.
"Nah, let's do it your way. What customizations are you putting in?" he asked.
"It wouldn't be any fun if I told you," Dawn said with a smile. "Are you ready?"
Zack stood still in front of Dawn. "Hit me."
Dawn zapped him with the remote, then turned it around and zapped herself. The two of them stood still for a moment, Zack still for some reason expecting to see something change immediately. When he realized nothing was happening, he chuckled.
"Okay, so we need to do something before we start growing horns again."
"Already got that covered," said Dawn, who was putting her shoes back on. "Follow me!"
Zack put his shoes back on and the two temporary humans walked half a block to a clothing store. Although it was the middle of summer, Dawn managed to find a section with some cold weather wear. She grabbed a purple knit ski cap and instructed Zack to pick one out as well.
"Two steps ahead, as usual," Zack said, grabbing a gray and black-striped cap. They paid for their new hats and walked back out into the bright day. It was pretty warm, so the friends pocketed their caps until they'd really need them.
"I don't know about you, but I'm starving," Dawn said.
"Mmm," Zack nodded in agreement. "I know a good place. C'mon." He lead Dawn further downtown, which was filling up with crowds for the lunch hour rush.
