The boat travels for a few days. You and Emilio spent lots of time together trying to forget what happened by playing cards and reading the meager few books that you could find in your sparse rooms. After a day you both realize that its pointless and try and figure out what happened.
"That hands down was the worst and sexiest experience I’ve ever seen," you say. "I gave up on so many people.
I left them all behind and barely managed to save myself. Oh god Sarah, what have I done?"
"Relax man," Emilio says. "None of this was your fault. You did everything you could. You've probably helped contain this by getting that sample off the island."
You try and console yourself with these thoughts but it doesn’t work so you and Emilio get up and go look for Zephyr to see what she knows. You quickly make your way to the bridge in hopes that she would be there but all you can find is the4 captain of the ship. Emilio comes up to him and says, "Excuse me sir."
"Well hello there. You two must have been the boys that got off the boys who got off the island. I'm sorry my names Rupert. Captain Rupert. You two are very lucky. There haven’t been any other boats allowed off of the island. The only reason we got through was because Zephyr had that sample."
"Wait! Captain, you mean that they had a quarantine set up all ready? We didn’t see any military forces on the island yet. Wouldn’t they have tried saving the island first?"
"I’m sorry son. I can’t tell you anymore. I’ve probably said too much already."
You and Emilio leave feeling even more confused than before. Was the government behind this? Was this some sort of test? You continue down the hall heading back to your cabin when you bump into Zephyr. "What the hell went on back there?!"
"Brad, listen to me. You need to calm down. This is not your business. You should be glad I picked you up. So shut up and don’t ask any more questions.”
“No you listen to me! I left behind my newlywed wife, an innocent tech, and a woman who had done nothing wrong. They turned into those… bimbos!”
“Brad! You are not to say a word of this to anyone. I will sedate you if you don’t calm down. “
“No I will not shut up. You all did something there…” You hear a whoosh and feel a prick in your shoulder. You look down and a small dart is sticking out of it. “Fuck…” you say as everything fades to black.
You come to in the grimy cabin you’ve been staying it while on board. Zephyr is sitting in a sit across your bed and your hand is cuffed to the bed frame. For the first time you notice how sexy Zephyr looks. She’s about 5’6” with a slim body and quite large boobs. Almost DD. Her dark brown hair comes down to mid back and although it is tangled and unkempt it gives her a hot morning after look.
“Are you going to behave?”
“Yes. I’ve just been so frustrated with this. My mind is looking for something to blame for it all.”
“I know it’s a natural response to something like this. I promise that when we get to the lab. We’ll explain all that we can. In fact we should be getting there soon. The captain said about an hour before we’d be there.” She quickly uncuffs you and walks out but gives you a great view of her generous rear end.
The captain was right. After just over an hour Emilio peeks his head into yo9ur cabin and tells you to head above deck to get off the boat. As you step outside the portal you are surprised to see that instead of being outside at a dock you seem to be in some sort of cave. At the end that you came from is a giant steep door that is coming down to close off the outside world. A gangplank is quickly brought across and Zephyr, Emilio, and you step across. Immediately Zephyr hands over the biohazard bag. Quickly men come up and sedate all of you.
