Despite all he wanted to do, Ethan figured that new clothes would have to be his top priority. After all he couldn't really go anywhere in oversized clothes like he was wearing now. Then again he would have to go to the mall wearing what he was wearing now, but he could change once there. Ethan also found himself really thanking the fact that the suburb he lived in wasn't very far from the mall, because he didn't want to go further than walking distance in oversized clothes.
Then there was the book, the transportation of which was simple enough; he just grabbed a backpack he had from college when the book, as though responding to his wish for easier transportation, shrank before his very eyes into a pocketbook. Considering he had been twenty-five only minutes before and was now ten the book changing size didn't really faze him. He quickly stuffed the book in his pocket, along with his wallet and phone, and left for the mall.
On the way Ethan was tempted more than once to get the book out and try it out on others, but he wasn't sure if he felt recharged enough to be casting spells willy-nilly. So, as much as he wanted to cast again, he wasn't about to.
At the mall he bought a whole variety of clothes for someone his age and size. There were some questions raised about how he had enough money, to which he replied that he said his parents were rich. Once bought he managed to get permission to use the store's change room to, well, change. He stripped off all the oversized clothes and pulled on some blue boxers, dark blue jeans with a cloth belt, a blue layered sleeve shirt with a robot on it and grey sleeves, socks, and black and dark purple high top shoes. Finally he pulled a silver-coloured dog tag on to finish the look, and when he'd finished he looked the image of a cool looking kid. "Who knew my fashion sense could get this good with fifteen years taken off," he said rhetorically to himself.
With that he quickly pocketed the Book of Time, his cellphone and his wallet, and grabbed the bags holding the rest of his clothes and left the store, aiming to get some lunch. Now that's he accomplished that little task he was much more free. So question was, should Ethan search for the other books, or have some more fun with the Book of Time.
