Ethan searched the crowd agai, looking for someone he could add years to. It would have to be someone young, so just a few years would be noticable. He didn't want to take away from someone's life. Finally, he spotted a girl about his new age of ten, looking in a store window at some dresses. She was by herself, but probably had parents or freinds nearby.
Ethen concentrated on her and whispered 'Progess', being very careful to think of 3 years. As before, there was a strange whirl of mist around the girl, and he watched her grow at least four inches. Her clothes got tight, and she creid out as her shoes squeezed feet way too big for them. Ethan immediately muttered 'Regress' and restored the girl to her original age. She looked confused, but OK afterwards.
OK. So he knew how aging worked. What else could he do? Time travel, immortality, time freezing. The book had a lot of blank pages, though. Maybe more spells would appear later.
