Ty knew that the one who had resisted him was after him, and kept himself well hidden. But someone else knew as well, Ty could sense another who had the power. But he would not dare track him down using his own powers in fear that the rapist would find him. So he sat back and decided to lay a trap for him. He knew that the kid had given himself some weird abilities and had even seen them, but not really noticing them. And he couldn't quite remember who had done them, but he would soon find out.
Dan was sitting at home doing some biology homework when he felt it. Something was sweeping the minds of people, looking for someone. The name Ty was the only thing he caught. "Wait a minute, do they mean Dustin's little bro? I wonder why their looking for him."
He looked out his window to the house across the street. The window that belonged to him was glowing witht hte lights of a tv. "Maybe I should go over and see if he knows about anyone looking for him." He went to stand up when he felt something else. A sense that he had sorta gotten used to after 4 years was set off. This sense was the same power that alowed him to catch that sweep. The same power that let him see that it was not just an ordinary tv set, but one that projected the images in a 3D hologram, and know that this kind of technology isn't supposed to be around yet. He knew, he checked.
"Don't tell me he has it too. That must be the reason someone is looking for him." He put his pencil down and walked out the door and out of the house. He strolled over and knocked at Ty's door, his step mom answering the door. A quick modification of her memory and she opened the door wider.
"Oh Dan, its nice to see you again. Ty's up in his room, want me to call him down?"
"No, I'll just go up to him." He walked past her and up to Ty's bedroom door. The sound of a street fighter game coming through it. He knocked a couple times. But could barely hear it himself so he upped the sound of it and knocked again. Ty's angry voice sounded from within.
"I'm busy, come back later." Dan felt a mental nudge for him to do just that. But he just shook it off. Ty did have some strength behind it, but at the rate he was going he would use up a lot of his energy and he'd lose soem of that strength.
"I don't think so Ty, I need to talk. Let me in or I'll just come in anyway." There was a moment of silence as the game turned off. Followed by the sound of wood stretching. The door's creases vanished so he couldn't open the door no matter what. Dan sighed an just waled right through it like it were just smoke.
"I told you I'd just come in. Now, you've got some explaining to do."
