"I had a wonderful trip, baby," Ty said, holding her close. "But I'm glad to be back. Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?"
"Actually, I do," Brandy replied with a small frown. "I was planning on swinging by here when you arrived and then show one of my friends from high school around the campus before he has to go home."
"And when will that be?" Ty asked, not failing to notice that last part.
"Tomorrow afternoon," she answered sheepishly. "His parents are coming up then to join him on an official tour for prospective seniors. He wanted to get to know the areas not included in the tour. He'll be spending the night at my apartment. But after that, we'll have the next couple of days to ourselves!" She beamed.
"Yay," Ty said, less than enthusiastically. "Tell him I said hi." Brandy kissed him on the cheek and left.
Ty frowned. "Sure this guy wanted to get to know the areas not explored in the tour," he thought sourly. "Brandy is too innocent to realize that he means her. She is my girl, and he should not be anywhere near her bed. I better go make sure he's not interested in her."
With that, Ty grabbed his keys and left his dorm. He saw Brandy a good distance away from him, chatting on the phone. He followed far enough behind her to make it look like he wasn't following her. She arrived at her apartment complex, got off of her phone, and waved to a guy standing at the foot of the fire escape.
He was probably 6 foot even. He had a handsome, yet slightly rugged face with close cut dark brown hair. His most prominent feature was his size. He had to be at least 220 pounds of muscle. He could've been a football player or a wrestler. Ty wouldn't be able to beat the shit out of him if he got too close for Ty's liking. That was when Ty remembered his gift. He could just make a wish, and the problem would be solved.
Ty grabbed a campus newspaper, sat down on a nearby bench, and pretended to read it. He made a silent wish to boost his hearing and to be able to see through the newspaper.
"Hi!" Brandy said, jogging up to him.
"Hey Brandy," he replied, hugging her. He had closed his eyes and smiled slightly. He allowed his hands to wander a little, brushing Brandy's waist-long hair. Brandy didn't notice, but Ty definitely did, who lowered the newspaper just to make sure he was seeing what was transpiring correctly.
"Ty says hi," Brandy told him with a smile before heading up the fire escape.
He frowned and growled softly so Brandy couldn't hear, but Ty's enhanced hearing could, "Right. Ty the boyfriend. Hopefully, the ex-boyfriend soon."
Ty knew it! This guy wanted Brandy for himself! That asshole is going to pay. But how? He couldn't just waltz up and start accusing him in front of Brandy. That would make Brandy angry. He'd have to wait until this guy was alone. Or not? Ty made a wish.
Brandy reached her apartment and said, "I just realized I need to take a shower. Would you mind going down the street and getting some pizza to bring back here?"
"Uh sure," the guy replied, shrugging and smiling. "Works great for me."
"Awesome!" Brandy closed the door behind her, leaving the guy outside, all alone, just how Ty wanted it.
