The night after Blueblood showed up, Maedel woke me up a little after midnight.
"Sara, we're getting out of here." She said.
"Could you repeat that? I must still be dense from waking up. It sounded like you said we were leaving." I
said.
"We are. It's time I finally did what I came to do in the first place." Maedel said.
"Stop Timothy from getting hopelessly lost?" I asked.
"Save you." Maedel said, walking over to the barred window. With a slight push, she somehow knocked the bars
off.
"Maedel, Morgana will be able to track us." I said.
"That's possible. However, I just so happen to know a select number of individuals she can't track." Maedel
grinned.
"You want to go to Equestria." I guessed.
"Right. Think about it: they have the power to stop Morgana from trying to take you out, and to turn me back."
Maedel said.
"Two things. First of all, we have no idea how to get to Equestria. Secondly, this is about changing you back.
I'm perfectly OK with that, just don't pretend you're doing this to save me." I said.
"I wouldn't leave you alone here." Maedel said.
"Fine, so maybe it's part of why you're going. But still, if this is about changing you back, just say so." I
said.
After a few moments of silence, Maedel spoke up, "This is about changing me back."
"Like I said, I'm not mad. Now, do you have a plan on how to get to Equestria?" I asked.
"I'm a ranger Sara. I can track a kid through a carnival, I can sure as hell track the massively powerful, not
even slightly subtle woman that controls the moon." Maedel said, gazing off into the distance, "That way." She
pointed somewhere on the horizon.
