The 30 minutes since Amanda left went by quickly. I picked up the pamphlet and walked down the three flight of stairs. I found her wrapping things up at the help desk. She smiled brightly when she saw me and beckoned me to come to her. I held up the pamphlet. "What did you find?" she asked.
"I didn't quite find it," I hinted.
She quickly caught on. She took it and looked at it. "It's not one of books." She didn't find a bar code on it and announced, "Keep it."
I waited for her. She left the help desk with a small bag, and she guided me to the employee's break room. She punched out her time card and led to the women's locker room.
I hesitated as she opened the door. "Amanda, I can't go in there."
"You can. Let me see if it's empty."
Amanda disappeared behind the door and then opened it. "All clear!"
"What if someone comes in?" I asked.
She winked. "You have a magic ring, don't you?"
I smiled. I followed her in and we went to her locker. She pulled out the metallic blue one-piece from the bag she brought from the help desk. She swapped a few items in and out of the locker. "I work out in the mornings and change here."
She held up the suit. "Should I try it out?" she asked with a dreamy look.
I blushed. "What, put it on right here?"
"Well, yeah. You're a modest guy, aren't you?" she asked.
"Amanda, I am. How about I leave and let you change?" I said shyly.
"Stay here, I'll go to the showers," she offered. She turned and announced, "Be right back!"
I watched her sashay away. She was being a flirt.
