"I'll take care of it. Guards, make sure no one comes in. I don't know how long this will take, and if the
killer catches me trying to break his signal, I don't want to be caught unaware. Savant, monitor my vitals. If
I dip into the red, pull me back immediately." Gabe said.
"No prob boss." The savant said as the techguards left the room.
Gabe inhaled and opened up the files mentally. His eyes shot open and glowed a bright sky blue.

Gabe was suddenly floating, surrounded by streaming lines of text. It reminded him of the Matrix, except he
could actually read what the text was, and it was blue.
"What's up with the color blue around here?" Gabe said.
"You have a problem with blue?" A voice asked from behind Gabe. He whirled around to see what looked like a
fish girl made of blue and purple code.
"Who are you?" Gabe asked.
"Your spirit animal. Name's Punk Shock. How can I be of service?" The girl asked, extending a hand to Gabe.
"I need to know who messed up these videos." Gabe said.
"Easy, the killer." Punk Shock said.
"I know that already." Gabe said.
"Aw, don't worry, I'm just messing with you. All you gotta do is play a little minigame." Punk Shock said.
"Oh, good." Gabe said. Suddenly, the world around him melted away.
In mere moments, Gabe was no longer in his Magos body. Instead, he was one of the chompies from a video
game.
"Okay, here's what you have to do: there's a big circle in front of you. Step on it, and you'll dive into a
big stream. Once you're in there, you have to swim upstream and collect three big red gems. Once you make it
to the end of the stream, you'll be able to climb out and you'll have won. Now, there will be bits of debris
and electric eels swimming at you while you're in the stream. Normally, it would take three or four to kill
you, but since you're a chompy, you die in one hit. If you make it to the end with all three gems, you'll find
your guy. Find fewer gems, and you'll still get something, but it will be less helpful. Get killed, and you
either have to exit this challenge or start over. Any questions?" Punk Shock said.
"Yeah, why this stuff?" Gabe asked.
"Really? You don't... I mean, I know I'm not the most... I'm one." Punk Shock said with a grimace.
"Oh." Gabe said. With that, he turned and leapt into the water.
