As Mitch uttered the Advance Spell from the second volume of the transformation tome, both Dale and Alan were took by surprise and immediately looked over their furry wolf backs over to Mitch. Both young students were overwhelmed with a set of mix feelings of fright and rush of excitement. Knowing Mitch's major on Supernatural Phenomenons, it'd be nothing short but intense follow up. But to what end and if safe at all?
"Errrr Mitch, that spell sure sounds rather long..." Dale responded timidly. Mitch's chant echoed around the room, picking up wind, and slowly louder from a whisper to regular pitched tone. All to seriously intense. Mitch was wholly focused on the chanting as if the tome partially took in part along with the chating. The book glowed neon green light, similar to their 1st spells. Later switched to what seemed like a slow windy green flames under Mitch's stance. Benevolent mood. Then all of the sudden everything stop, just quiet. The tome just went back to being plain flame-less, old, and dusty.
"Crud, its just a dude spell to pick up dust from the floor." said Mitch in frustration.
"So much for Advance Spell book" sarcastically replied Alan, the Native American.
"Look up something else on that book. Might have been a warm up spell or something." Jolted Dale.
With a nod with his canine head towards Dale, Mitch stuck his nose closer to the book for a closer look, laying a paw over the tome about to continue.
"Well, lets seeeeee........there's......Uhhhh!!!!" said Mitch, as he was suddenly cut off guard by the following spurred event. The tome had immediately upon the wolf paw contact shoot out an all consuming dark pitched flame all over Mitch's wolf form. Immersing rapidly inside his body like water to an empty sponge; just all within fraction of a second. Blink of an eye even.
"WHOLLY SHIATTTHHH MITCH!!!!! WHOLY MOFO CRUD!!" yelped Alan as he fell over his back in fear.
"GAWD MITCH! ARE YOU ALRIGHT??!!! SAY SOMETHING! ARE YOU OKAY BUDDY?????!?!?" shoot back Dale in total shock and fear. The hell was that green flame all of the sudden. Wasn't it a flat fail of a spell at all?
Mitch breathes deeply, pants like a wet dog as if he just ran a marathon, sweating. "I dunno wuts going on......I think my body is tingling....Its burning up fast like a fever or something." he replied between breaths. Then immediately he stood still on all fours canine legs lowering slowing his wolf head till it drop still facing down. Tongue sticking out.
"Mitch?" Alan said.
Thump! Crack! A Canine shoulder blade grew in mass on one side followed by the right side. Pulsing veins filled up the back trap muscle like a balloon water in larger thing mass. Mitch's body contorted in odd directions making his head swing a bit side to side in painful grunts. His Long canine neck grew somewhat thicker with more muscle. "Guys....." Mitch struggled to say between canine moans and whines. The body was disproportionate in growth. Just his back grew large in muscle mass rather oddly, same with his front legs....then in almost in half a trance, like a sleep walker, Mitch look over to Alan as if asking for help. Alan locked eyes with wolf form Mitch with empathy to a trusting friend. He walked over on all fours, quite slowly towards Mitch's odd shaped still transforming body. The hell was that spell?!
Mitch followed looking over Alan walking away form the tome, closer to his friend. All the while Dale stood open mouth in total frozen shock and terror. This is how it must have felt for Mitch to be the last one to shift into his wolf form. Dale's body just shivered uncontrollably in fear.
