David smiled at Laura, and Laura smiled back. They had already gotten their rings and were waiting for the priest to pronounce them as being married. But then something weird happened. Laura was fading away like a ghost. "Laura?" he asked aloud, his eyes wide. And before he knew it, she was gone, along with her maid of honor and all her bridesmaids. "What's happening?"
"Over here," came a voice.
David turned and saw a non-descript 40ish man in a gray suit. He was standing in the aisle.
"Who are you?" David asked. "What happened to Laura?"
"My name is Loki. And what happened to Laura? She's been transported elsewhere, for her wedding."
"But this is her wedding."
"Not anymore. But it is your wedding."
Suddenly, David felt himself moving towards the bride's side of the altar. Then he turned to face his best man Matt. "What's going on?" he asked, panicking.
"Oh settle down," Loki said. "This is your big day. The one you've been waiting for, remember? This is the day you marry the love of your life. The day you marry ... Matt," Loki said, with a smirk.
"What?! No way! I'm not marrying a guy, especially not my best friend!"
"Oh, but he's not your best friend anymore. He's your fiancee. You two will make a great gay couple."
"No! I'm not doing this!"
"You have no choice."
"I like chicks, not dudes!"
Loki paused for a moment. "Yes, I sense that you like big breasts. Well, let's change that, shall we?"
David felt a weird sensation in his head. "What did you just do?"
"Tell me. What do you think of big breasts?"
David was about to say he loved them, but then he paused, realizing that he had no interest in them. His eyes went wide. He was no longer attracted to girls with big breasts!
"Now, what do you think about big cocks?"
The moment he said it, David's own cock started to grow stiffer. His eyes went even wider. "What the fuck did you do to me?!"
"I think it's pretty obvious. I made you a cock-lover. I mean, you are gay, after all."
"You fucking bastard! I'll kill you for this!"
Loki waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. "Your threats mean nothing to me." He checked his watch. "Well, I think we should get this started."
David was so mad at Loki that he hadn't even noticed that everyone but him and Loki were frozen in time. But now, time resumed.
"I love you, man," Matt whispered to David, a smile on his face of genuine happiness.
David's stomach turned in a knot. Both he and Matt hated fags. They used to bully them in high school. But now Matt was acting like ... well, like he was okay with being gay!
"I now pronounce you man and husband," the priest said. David turned and looked at him. The white sash around his neck had changed into an LGBT rainbow-colored sash. He knew Reverend Mitchell. He was as anti-gay as David was. How could this be happening? "You may now kiss your husband."
Matt smiled, then leaned in to kiss David.
