The following two hours may very well be the most awkward of my whole life.
Keru did her hair, I cleaned myself up, and we both went to dinner.
While this may sound fine, it was much less entertaining than it should have been. Which is no surprise, considering we didn't talk.
AT ALL.
So, we went back to my apartment, I took a shower, and we got ready for bed.
It was actually very nice to sleep with her. She stayed still, and was very quiet.
About halfway through the night I was jolted awake.
"Be quiet. They might be watching."
"Wha..." Keru was nervously looking out the window. After about a minute of surveillance, she came back to bed.
"Alright, so we're married, right?"
"Y–Yes."
"But the question is, WHY are we married?"
She looked away for a second, then turned back to me. "My parents have been watching me all day. Something is wrong. And I think our union may have to do with something more sinister."
She looked at me. "Do you understand me?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Good." Finally, she sat lay back down next to me. "I'm going to find out why this happened. One way, or another."
