Katie nodded absentmindedly, "You go on ahead sis I'll be right there!"
Kelly nodded and plucked up her new child sized surfboard and quickly ran the opposite way down the beach. Katie meanwhile began to panic. The car was gone, did that mean everything else that they owned was? Were they homeless?
Almost as soon as she thought it though she noticed a warm glow nearby. Turning she saw a bike rack and two brand new kids bikes appearing. The bikes had a special kind of rack on them for carrying surboards and one red Kelly and the other Katie. Katie gulped to realize that these belonged to them....this is what the car had become. She looked down to her sneakers feeling them become a little more naturally worn, but still very comfortable.
"I guess this is the ring's work," Katie said quietly relaxing. "So it can change objects as much as it can people and perception."
She grinned to herself, "That's awesome then. I have a twin sister. " Plucking up her board she started to trapse along the sand, passing the group of older woman. They all smiled warmly and watched her pass, and Katie could not help but feel the slight longing in their eyes for such youth...so...
