Meanwhile, at wherever Kyle happens to be now...
"So, did it work?," Steven asked Kyle as the duo walked to school. Unlike Jennifer, the two friends lived close enough to school to not need the bus.
"Well, she responded to the Dare exactly as I instructed her, verbatim even. I don't know if that means that the curse actually works or that she's jut messing with me, though."
"Well, we'll probably find out as soon as we see her, right?"
Kyle nodded, then shrugged. "Considering how she tends to behave at school, I wonder if we would still recognize her at all," he joked, his friend bursting into laughter.
"True, true," Steven answered when he found his breath again. "Honestly, I can't say I'll miss the bitch."
"Me neither. Hey, maybe I should've turned her into a bitch instead?"
"Nah," Steven shook his head. "At least this way she'll actually be useful."
"Yeah, you're right," Kyle agreed. "Well, there's the school. Doesn't look like the bus has arrived yet though."
As if on cue, the bus arrived right that moment..
"...Or maybe it has. Well, that's convenient," Kyle smiled. "Well, let's see how far she's gone, shall we?"

Amazingly enough, Jennifer had managed to stop herself from gossiping, thus not triggering any other part of the curse. The horns were still blatantly visible to anyone and everyone though, but seeing as nobody thought anything of it, she had no reason to snap at them either. As a result, the curse hadn't been activated. Although she didn't think of herself as such, Jennifer was pretty lucky that Kyle hadn't made the curse work over time...
"Speak of the devil...," she muttered as she left the bus, seeing her curser standing near a low wall some of the students used as a makeshift sitting place during the breaks. Steven, of course, was right next to him, actually using said wall for exactly that purpose.
"Hey, Jenny!," Kyle waved. "How are you doing?"
The completely out-of-place nice tone momentarily confused Jenn, after which her rage took over again. "You asshole! What have you done to me?! Turn me back right now, you fucking creep!"
Kyle just smiled, apparently waiting for something. ...When that something didn't happen, his smile quickly flattened. "Huh. Guess I deserved that one, eh?"
I don't know about that, Kyle. Honestly, I think she's the one who deserved what she got," Steven entered the conversation.
"You stay the fuck out of this, you stupid loser! This is be-" The young woman's rage was cut short as that horrible feeling returnef to her again, leading to both of the boys widely grinning.
"Well, one thing's for sure, Steven, you didn't deserve that," Kyle snickered, wondering what part of Jennifer would change next.
