Things were actually going quite well for Jenny right now, as they first stocked up on what they needed. In particular food and drink to refill Jenny’s depleted pantry to keep her going through the following week. And as they sat down for their lunch in one of the small cafes that the Glendale Shopping Centre sported, Jenny still noticing the slight mushy feeling from her filling diaper but able to ignore it for now, as she sunk her teeth into the chicken.
“Hmm?” She mumbled out, not quite hearing what Susan had jus said.
“I said you done yet? We’re waiting.”
“Sorry. Just trying not to make a mess here.” She apologised. “But that’s me finished now.” Jenny added after swallowing the last mouthful.
“Good, there’s still some things I wanna get and the shops close in a while.” Katie explained the rush. Being a Sunday, these shops would not be open for too much longer.
“Okay, okay. That’s me ready now.” Jenny picked up her own bags as Susan came back after getting their lunch remains into the bins.
They first needed to head back to Susan’s car to put away everything that they’d bought so far before heading back to finish up. There wasn’t too much to get now, just some toiletries that Katie had run low on. As she was paying for it however, another till attendant spoke to Jenny.
“Excuse me, Jenny is it?”
“Yes.” Jenny answered her, wondering what she was wanting with her.
“The order your parents made, it’s here.” She said as she quickly hoisted up a pack of diapers, most likely made to fit her, before dropping it down again just as quickly.
Jenny realised at this point that she should’ve seen that coming, given her new form, she’d certainly need some things made specially to fit her, with her tail and all that.
“I see.” She spoke quietly now as she checked her wallet. “If you keep them in that bag, I’ll pay for it now.”
“This way then.” She guided Jenny to an adjacent till where she made the cash payment, change given, and she took them, thankfully hidden so nobody who passed would be able to see them.
That slight hiccup dealt with, they could now head back home, though Jenny had been forced to deal with her current diaper filling up some more, certain that if she looked it would be very yellow now. But one thing was on her mind as well, this had to be the first time since the whole ordeal had started, that she’d managed to have one good day, even with her incontinence and fur. Truth be told, she was feeling pretty good now.
They first stopped outside Jenny’s home. “Okay here we are, you can carry everything?” Susan asked.
“Yes, I think I’ll manage.” She cheerfully stated, as she slipped out, a little urine hissing out as she pulled her own bags out. “So seeing you tomorrow?”
“Of course.” Susan replied, waiting for the trunk to be shut again before she and Katie left for their own respective homes.
Now inside and everything put away, Jenny had the rest of the day to herself. Her homework was done, she could wait a while before dinner, but what Susan had said in the morning was starting to prove true, even though her dress was a loose-fitting one, she was starting to get hot under it now she was inside.
“Oh what the Hell.” She decided as she pulled the curtains shut before pulling up her dress and tossing it onto the couch.
That was better, without it to trap the heat in, she could really start to relax as she flipped the channels, settling on a movie run to pass the time, only leaving to eat and swap out for a fresh diaper, now that she had enough to spare for it.
She’d been watching the movies for some time now, and before she knew it, Jenny had fallen asleep on the couch.
