For the first time, Ty was able to see her face. He instantly recognized her: She was this strange new student at school! The one allegedly coming from Japan. What was her name already?
"Err… H-hello?" Said the suddenly nervous demoness. "E-everything started on my f-first day in a local hi-high-school, under the name Touma Suzuki. I… I always loved to fight, and the first thing I saw upon arriving there was some of the strongest students beating up some less fortunate ones. I didn't knew why, and didn't care. All I knew is that they looked like strong opponents, so I started fighting them. If I knew the concept of 'bullying' back then, I wouldn't have rescued the mistreated guys from their bully. But I didn't, and accidentally did my first good dead."
"If things ended here, I wouldn't have changed. But the brutes I defeated were part the school's football team, so I immediately got some detention. When one of the boy I rescued tried to defend me, arguing that I protected his schoolmates and himself from the jocks, the headmaster didn't listen. To my surprise, no one else defended me, but that didn't stop the boy from insisting, even after that earned some detention."
"During our detention, when I asked why he defended me so vigorously when no one else did, he simply responded 'Because you did what no one here ever did: the right thing. Don't let anyone say otherwise, least of all our gutless principal.' I believe this to be when I started changing, even if I didn't realize it at the time."
Ty couldn't believe what he just heard He remembered all of this. How she defeated the five bullies in a minute, how principal Gunner gave her detention, how he got detention for questioning said headmaster's decisions, and saying those two world-changing sentences. Did these few words really influenced the demoness that much? This seemed surreal.
"After that, I was like drawn to him, often using lunch time to spend some time together. I didn't realize it immediately, but wile at his side, this little spark he ignited in me keep growing, slowly evolving into a fully formed soul." Then, accidentally dropping her coat, unknowingly revealing her nude body, she added "And that's when I realized I fell in love for him."
