"Yeah, ok, I'll participate" the young but large brown-haired man replied almost enthusiastically. He was shirtless, his tan and muscular body moving through the crowd. He casually walked up to the stage. "That’s some amazing magic you performed there, Madame, I have to say I’m quite impressed" He said with a air of confidence.
"Is that so?" questioned the Madame, who seemed a bit surprised at this young man's politeness.
"oh yeah, sorry about them, if they're too loud, Zach's always loud," he said calmly "Ain’t that right Zach!?!" He yelled out to his buddies in the back. He seemed almost cocky in the way he presented himself, confident and yet oddly friendly. "Yeah, sorry 'bout them." he repeated, talking to both Stephan and the Madame.
Madame looked him over a bit. He was quite the sight. Wearing his long shorts and shirtless. He flaunted his nice body, because he had one, she could tell that he spent most of his time in a gym. There was no hair anywhere but on his head and legs. He wasn’t very large, but he was just big enough to seem very strong. He wasn’t unusually tall, she figured, about 5'10 or so, about average height. He probably weighed about 180 or 185. He looked pretty muscular though.
"Well since you've been so, well, ...not so rude as your friends" she turned a slight frown as she spoke "...i'll give you this: what do you want?" The Madame asked somewhat forcefully.
"So what all can you do? Could you-like, hmmm..." he trailed off.
"I’m sure I can do whatever you could imagine" she sounded confident "come now, just choose something, maybe then I can prove to those friends of yours that I do have power." she sounded a little annoyed.
"Huh" he thought for a moment. A mischievous grin appeared on his face. "Well, you know, I wouldn’t mind being a little more, uh... Manly, if you know what I mean." he said to her, still in front of the crowd.
"Well, lets see... Young man, what’s your name?"
"Josh Nead" he replied.
"Ok Josh, well let me ask you a personal question"
"Um... ok" he replied calmly with slight hesitation, the audience stirred.
"Do you shave your body? I mean, I see you have all those muscles, but for example, do you shave your chest?"
"Well, uh, yeah, sometimes"
"Oh well- that’s a shame, because I think men with a good amount of hair on their chest look far more manly, you know? You see these young men, hairless all the time, and to me they just look like boys. I, personally, have always thought that men with some hair are more attractive."
"Uhh... ok" he said quietly. Still hesitating.
"So do you still want to be more manly, Josh?"
"...Uh, well, yeah- i guess s-" josh heard some of his buddies make a joke in the back and hollered out to him, Josh waves his hand and smiled casually. "...So"
"Ok good" She replied "So this is how its gonna work, you're gonna stand there, and I, here" she moved his stance slightly, pushing him over towards the center of the stage, "And we're gonna a make you more manly, sounds good?"
"Uh-"
"Good!" she exclaimed. "Now Stephan, grab me that would you?" She made a gesture to some powder on a table next to the stage. Stephan handed it to her and she put it in her hand. Then, waiting for a moment, walked over to Josh and flicked a very small amount of it onto his body"
"Just... uh, tell me when I can move,” he said.
"Ok... I will" replied the Madame. Then she made some gestures with her hands, and moved her lips, saying the words under her breath.
Suddenly Josh was overcome by an odd feeling that swept all across his body....
