Justin didn't do anything with the ring just yet and went home, but it was late by the time he arrived.
"Justin, is that you?" Justin's mother called out to him.
"Uh, yeah mom, it's me." Justin admitted.
"You're late young man. You know you have homework to do." His mother scolded him.
"I'm sorry, but I wanted to go to basketball practice with my friends." Justin said trying to apologize.
"You can do that when your grades aren't slipping. Now go to your room and start on your homework." Justin's father interjected.
"It's just really hard, you don't get it. I wish you could be my classmates just to see what my schoolwork is like." Justin offhandedly said.
Justin then watched as parents shrank in size and they're clothes altered with them. His mom's green dress shifted into a green blouse with a tan skirt. His father's buttoned shirt transformed into a t-shirt of a popular band.
"What, what just happened to you two?" Justin asked.
"What the hell are you talking about Justin? You said to come over for homework practice." His young dad said.
"Yeah, Justin, can't remember a day yet this year that you haven't asked for either of our help." His young mom said.
Justin was confused as to what had just happened, but then remembered the ring he had gotten earlier. It must've had some kind of special powers to it.
'I wish I knew the first names of my two friends.' Justin thought in his head.
The wish worked and Justin knew that his new friends, or former parents were Heather and Sean.
"Alright so let's get started." Justin said as they went to get their stuff out of their backpacks which Heather and Sean magically had after the wish.
