Adam looked along the shelves. He had already gotten quite a bit for this shopping trip, but he needed just one last thing... Ah, here we are. Pet shampoo, now which one to get? It looks like they're having a big sale on this newer indigo stuff. 10 for $10? That almost sounded too good to be true. Adam opened the lid of one of the shampoo bottles and sniffed it. Huh, it was more fragrant that the pet shampoos he'd smell before. He had a bit of trouble placing it. Was it lavender? Blueberry? It could be blue raspberry for all his nose could distinguish. But it most definitely wouldn't taste as well as it smelled. Well, this would definitely be an improvement to the smell of wet fur. He might as well get it in bulk.
His girlfriend, Evelyn, was waiting for him at the cashier's counter. She looked at the several bottles of shampoo in the cart and said, "We don't really need that much, do we?"
"Well, they were having a sale. 10 for $10," said Adam.
Evelyn raised both eyebrows. "10 for $10 on pet shampoo? They don't even sell human shampoo for that low," she said.
"Must be a promotion thing," said Adam, "This stuff's pretty new so they're probably offering it for so cheap so that people will be able to try it and then come back for more when it goes to its regular price."
"Makes sense to me," said Evelyn with a shrug.
Not long after that, Adam and Evelyn had loaded their supplies into their car. That pet shampoo was certainly going to come in handy where they work which was where they were heading right now.
