Once all the supplies, Adam and Evelyn soon started driving down the road. About 10 minutes later, Adam and Evelyn arrived at the farm that Adam had inherited from his great-uncle a few years ago. Working the farm was hard work, but Adam had spent most of his life helping out on his great-uncle's farm. He sometimes wished his great-uncle were still here to see how well the farm was still doing, but he was sure he was watching from someplace.
Adam and Evelyn carried in their supplies into the farmhouse they lived in. Adam considered himself lucky he found a girl who was both beautiful and willing to work hard. Evelyn may not have been a farm girl most of her life, but she loved living out in the country and raising animals on the farm. Adam ought to get around to proposing to Evelyn, but getting enough money for a ring these days was pretty hard.
Once the groceries and other things were put away, Evelyn looked at the several bottles of shampoo that Adam bought and said, "Do we really need this much for our animals?"
"Well, perhaps not every single animal, but I can think of a few who could certainly use a bath," said Adam.
