As much fun as the mating has been, there were still a couple of things to consider, like how people will react when they see a small pride of anthro lions. Proving their identities and showing the source of the transformations was not likely to calm others down even if they were given the chance to do so. Or worse, people would be more interested in studying them in an uncomfortable lab. Adam stood up and said, "Girls, I think it's time we went home."
"But we are home," said Leona.
"Not your home, our home," said Adam.
"Ah, we'll be going back to Africa," said Morowa with delight.
"That's not likely to happen soon," said Adam, "But we do need to head back our house."
"What's the big rush?" asked Evelyn with a stretch.
"Well, do you want people to see you as a lion woman and then take you to a lab?" asked Adam.
"Point made, let's go," said Evelyn. The lionesses headed for the door to the enclosure after Evelyn fished her keys out of the ruins of her shorts. She and Adam gathered up all their torn clothes so that anyone who looked in the enclosure wouldn't think that the lionesses had eaten them as well as escaped. Adam also grabbed the shampoo bottles, not thinking something like that should be left lying around.
The four of them moved very quickly through the zoo. Their leonine bodies were quite fast and adept at long running. They weren't as fast as cheetahs and probably not quite as fast as a lion on all fours, but they did cover a lot of ground in little time. They were fortunate that the zoo was almost empty today and there weren't people to spot them. Finding their car wasn't so hard, getting into it was a bit of a hassle. Adam and Evelyn had grown quite a bit taller since they were last in it and they had to adjust their seats a lot, not to mention positioning their tails so they weren't being sat on. Morowa and Leona got into the back, but it was a tight fit for them as well. Fortunately, lion paws were just as capable of operating foot pedals as human feet and the car was able to start rolling very quickly.

Returning to Adam and Evelyn's house was a temporary solution at best. Sooner or later, someone from the zoo will asking them where they and the lionesses are. Not to mention that as soon as anyone saw the pride, there would be panic. So the general plan for now was to lay low and try to think of a better solution to this dilemma.
Adam sat on the couch, wearing only a pair of boxer shorts. His clothes were all too small for his larger physique now. Not that modesty matters much when you're a lion man, but it made things a little bit more normal. Evelyn was sitting next to him, wearing her stretchiest underwear. Even so, it was still very tight across her chest and her large breasts were being squished a lot.
"Well, I don't think we'll be having any dull nights," said Adam jokingly.
"Yeah, since night is probably the only time we'll be able to go out," said Evelyn, "We need to find out where that shampoo came from. Maybe they'll have a cure."
"I thought you liked being a lioness," said Adam.
"I do, but I want the option of turning normal again. Lion people are not the norm, people are going to see us as monsters," said Evelyn.
"We're not monsters. We're just...different," said Adam, "Maybe we should be trying to find a way to go to Africa. Lion people might be able to blend in better there."
"But I want to see more of your town," said Leona as she walked in. Her new anthro body was about the same size that Evelyn's had been so she had been given free range to try on any of her clothes. It was a bit surreal to see an anthro lioness wearing jeans with torn knees, a blue t-shirt, and a grey jacket, but Leona actually wore her clothes rather well.
"Leona, it's not Halloween. And even if it were, I think there would be plenty of people who know you're not wearing a costume," said Evelyn.
"But I want to be able to live like you humans do. Just because I'm a lioness doesn't mean I'm that different from you," said Leona.
"There is no shame about being a lioness," said Morowa as she came out of the kitchen. There was a little bit of dried blood on her and she was wearing a loincloth and armbands that Adam hadn't seen before.
"Morowa, what have you been doing?" asked Adam.
"Hunting, of course. The deer of your country are easy to catch, even on two legs," said Morowa, "Tonight, we'll feast."
"Morowa, people could have spotted you. You need to be careful about when you go out," said Evelyn before looking at Morowa's bare, slightly bloody breasts and asked, "And couldn't you have made yourself a top out of that deer hide while you're at it?"
"The women in Africa are not afraid to go topless," said Morowa with a huff, "Besides, considering I'm a lioness that stands on two legs, you think it would matter if my breasts were covered or not?"
"She has a point there," said Leona before suddenly there was a knock at the door. The four lions froze before the knocking was heard again. Someone knew they were home and they weren't likely to go away.
