Luke decided he might as well try to get his identity back by stripping off the boy's clothes as soon as possible. He kicked off his shoes and socks, and then dropped his pants. Nothing happened. Then he pulled off his shirt and added it to the pile, now totally naked. He was still the ten year-old. The clerk sighed. "Sorry. I was afraid this might happen. I think you are now stuck as the kid, except for other costumes. And the kid is a dog, except for other costumes."
The Great Dane woofed and wagged his tail, obviously not bothered by spending the rest of his life as a dog. Luke wasn't so sure. Back to being ten? "Do you have any other human costumes? Something a little older?"
The clerk nodded. "I can show you a few we have that might be better." He led Luke and the dog back downstairs to a rack of clothing and picked out a few. "See if any of these are better."
