The amulet it wore. Around the stone carving's neck you could clearly see what appears to be a necklace. A single gemstone was fitted into the very middle and somehow you could tell that it was a saphirre. A beautiful one at that. You felt that you could nearly see it's color and shine as you stared closely at it. Something was drawing you to it. You were aware of this but you didn't care. As you looked closer the more vivid the amulet became. You felt that as if you could possibly touch it at one point until suddenly a large burst one wind hit you, making you slam your head into the hard stone.
"Ow!" You groan at the impact. You stand up and rub your head, feeling your brain recoil at the injury. Pain thudded on your head as you grit your teeth slightly.
Hopefully you wouldn't get a concussion from that hit. After a while the pain slowly died away and finally you realized that on top of the altar was something that wasn't there before.
A golden amulet. A large sapphire embedded into it. It shone in the sunlight making you forget most of your worries as you stared intensely at it. It was not there before. IT WAS NOT THERE BEFORE.
Alarms called in your head as you thought about it. How did it get there? You knew it wasn't there when you first saw the altar but still. You would've heard someone if they had placed it there.... but that sudden wind.... what if it wasn't wind at all? Paranoia flashes in your mind as you looking around, eyes flashing to the altar and the amulet along with the multiple ruined buildings around you. You realized that many of them were still partly intact and that anyone who was stealthy enough could watch you.
What if someone was here with you? Messing with you? Possibly even toying with you before.... NO. Your just being crazy. You think. Shaking your head you look back at the amulet, it's beautiful shine drawing you towards it like a moth to a flame. Should you take it? Maybe you should just leave. What ever the case you had strange unexplainable feeling that you were starting to overstay your welcome here.
