Kellie sat and did her homework for a while, at least until she heard a slight tap tap on her window. Looking up she saw katie sitting on the roofline just outside.
Kellie giggled. She knew katie did this sometimes, snuck out and climbed the gutter outside her house to sit with her on the roof or in her bedroom. Her room was removed enough the girls could effectively have a sleepover every night without a problem.
"Hey Kat, what's up?" Kellie asked.
Katie climbed inside, dressed in a nightgown and worn converse sneakers. "Hey Kellie, I got something I wanna tell you...and show you."
Kelly's heart jumped in her throat. Was Katie about to say what she thought she was?
She held out a ring. "See this? Its a magic ring, it can change a person's age."
